The 1920’s, when Jazz music was at its golden years, alongside the infamous prohibition era that shaped the glamorous and chic lifestyle of the decade was fittingly celebrated last December 14th, 2018, at Lietz Industrial Complex by the RLI team with A Gatsby Christmas theme.
With classic sophistication and Flapper-inspired suits and dresses, the RLI employees swayed the night with a series of talent showcases, games, and a heartfelt recognition to the company’s service awardees. The event was officially opened by Mr. Oscar A. Alvarez, RLI Consultant, and expressed his proud remarks on the amount of preparation that each and every one has exerted for the event. As part of the tradition, the new members of the RLI family were encouraged to present their talents either individually or as groups, which were recorded and showed to everyone.
Unlike the previous years, the highlighted performers during the night were composed of vocal belters from RLI itself, which stunned the viewers with their superior vocal prowess and overflowing stage confidence delivered through the tune of a medley of Christmas songs. This year’s Christmas party has also witnessed a rare moment of recognition to some of the employees who have been part of the company for decades.
Service Awardees include Mr. Fernando C. Dimas (25 years), Mr. Richard P. Palacios (20 years), Ms. Jepsy D. Pacheco, Mr. Ronald I. Delos Santos, Ms. Elvie G. Banate (10 years), Mr. Garret A. Garcia, Ms. Juneese Kimberly J. Pantaleon, Mr. Christian T. Crisologo, Mr. Jose G. Almonte, Mr. Randy C. Tumilas, and Ms. Queenie Anicel E. Gabatin (5 years). When asked for her story of longevity in the company, Ms. Pacheco highlighted the importance of her supportive and talented team in making her job as the Supervisor of BU Food as smooth sailing as she could possibly imagine, and as well as the guidance of her mentor, Mrs. Elizabeth S.P. Lietz.
With all the dazzling outfits paraded by everyone at that night, 5 males and 5 females stood-out in the sea of glitz and glamour and were awarded with the Best Dressed Awards and cash prizes.
Mrs. Elizabeth S.P. Lietz, CEO of Rudolf Lietz, Inc. then delivered her message of gratitude to each and every one for pulling-off the year 2018 so well despite all the challenges that have transpired, together with company’s commitment to the growth of its employees by providing dozens more trainings and seminars for its employees, both here and abroad, in contrast to the previous years.
A video presentation of the recap of all the activities that the company had initiated was also displayed, including the Valentine’s Day 2018 celebration, Team Building/Company Outing, Nutrition Month Feeding Program, and all the rest of company-initiated events that followed.
The event was officially closed by Mr. Alexander R.J. Lietz, Vice President for Business Development of RLI by giving an inspirational message on the importance of mastering oneself, to be rich in life and avoid stress.
The evening was capped-off with the traditional singing of Auld Lang Syne, where everyone joined hands together to form a great round circle around the venue, symbolizing unity on the years to come.
