Rudolf Lietz, Inc. has selected Resources of the Blind, Inc. (RBI) as one of the charities to faithfully extend a helping hand to.

Resources of the Blind, Inc. is a non-government Christian organization serving blind people all over the Philippines since 1988. It aims to seek treatment for the main cause of blindness: cataracts. This illness accounts for around 400, 000 cases in the country. The treatment for cataract is simple and effective but is not readily available or affordable for those living in the rural areas.

Blind people often see themselves as unfortunate and useless since they regularly face misconceptions from other people of what they can and cannot do. By donating a specific amount of cash monthly, RLI, together with RBI, provides the services, trainings, materials, and equipment needed in order for blind people to reach their fullest potential in life.

Miss Glo, a representative of RBI, visited Lietz Industrial Complex this 10th of July 2014 to personally thank and hand the certificate of appreciation to our company for the help RLI has been giving for the past months.

“Had there not been people who supported RBI, the visually impaired could not have reached the fullest of their capabilities,” she says.
